Delivery Policy
Food Prepped offers a variety of services to make it easier for sellers to get their one-of-a-kind items into the hands of buyers quickly and securely. This Delivery Policy elucidates your delivery obligations as a seller and your rights and responsibilities when using Food Prepped’s postage labels services.
This Delivery policy is a part of our Terms of Use. By opening a Food Prepped shop, you’re agreeing to this Delivery policy and our Terms of Use.

1. Delivering Your Items
Sellers are accountable for packaging and posting their sold items to buyers. If you’re utilising a delivery or fulfilment service, please understand that you are solely accountable for ensuring your buyers receive their orders.
By selling on Food Prepped, you agree to the Delivery Policy bullet points below:
- Provide an accurate “dispatches from” address.
- Specify your postage costs and processing times in your listings.
- Dispatch items promptly after they are sold. Timely delivery means that you ship each item within 30 days of purchase, unless specified otherwise in your handling time or agree to a different delivery period with the buyer through Messages. Before you update your processing time for a specific order, you must first obtain your buyer’s consent.
- Comply with all local and international delivery and customs regulations. We know that delivery and customs regulations can be tough to read, so check out these Help articles on international delivery using Royal Mail, DPD, Yodel, FedEx
- Dispatch to the address listed on the Food Prepped receipt.
- Mark the order as shipped when you ship it or use a postage label purchased on Food Prepped, which automatically illustrates your order as dispatched. Remember that you may only mark an order as dispatched after you have dispatched it. When you indicate an order as dispatched, the buyer will receive a notification.
- Charge an appropriate amount for postage. UK sellers may be able to use calculated postage to have postage expenses calculated automatically.
By entering tracking information or delivery confirmation on Food Prepped, you’re giving us permission to collect and share this data received from your chosen delivery company with the buyer.
In the unlikely event an order does not arrive, be ready to provide valid proof of dispatch. Valid proof of shipping must show that the item was dispatched and that it was sent to the address specified by the buyer on Food Prepped. If a buyer does not receive their order, they may file a case against your shop. Please see this Help article to learn more about Food Prepped’s case system.

2. Postage Labels on Food Prepped
Sellers in the UK, who accept Food Prepped Payments or PayPal as a payment method can purchase Postage Labels on Food Prepped.
By purchasing and using Postage Labels on Food Prepped, you agree that:
- All postage labels will only be used to send corresponding Food Prepped orders.
- Postage labels may not be reassigned or sold to a third-party.
- You are fully responsible for the contents of any parcels you dispatch using Postage Labels on Food Prepped. In addition to Food Prepped’s policies, you concur to conform with the terms and conditions and any other policies or rules imposed by the carrier you use to dispatch your orders.
- Delivery services are offered by the applicable third-party delivery partner and/or carrier, not Food Prepped, and you are accountable to review, consent and abide by the applicable delivery partner’s and carrier’s terms and conditions, including their privacy policy, in association with your use of their services. Food Prepped is not accountable or responsible for any disputes you may have with a shipper’s services, and you should contact the applicable carrier as needed. In addition, Food Prepped is not accountable for any issues you may face while items you ship using Postage Labels on Food Prepped are in transportation. That means that if an item is lost, damaged, or arrives later than anticipated, you will have no recourse against Food Prepped, irrespective of Food Prepped’s association in resolving the issue. Please review the appropriate carrier’s terms and conditions for more information on how they handle parcels that are missing, damaged, or overdue.
- Food Prepped reserves the right to remove your access to and ability to purchase Postage Labels on Food Prepped at any time and for any reason.
- You acknowledge and consent to Food Prepped sharing your information with your chosen delivery partner and delivery company to complete your requested transaction subject to our Privacy Policy.
Royal Mail Labels
UK sellers can purchase Royal Mail postage on Food Prepped to fulfil their orders. By using Royal Mail shipping services, you agree to conform with the Royal Mail Food Prepped Programme rules comprising Royal Mail Restricted and Prohibited Goods, and the UK Government Webpage on “Shipping Dangerous Goods”.
UK sellers acknowledge and agree that any Royal Mail Trademarks © and Trademarks of Royal Mail Group Ltd displayed on Food Prepped.com or in any Food Prepped communication may not be copied or reproduced in any way, without the further written permission of Royal Mail.
UK sellers may request a refund for Royal Mail postage within 14 days of creating a label if the label has not been used to dispatch a package. Royal Mail reviews refund requests, and Food Prepped will notify sellers once a request is approved or denied. 3. Return Postage Labels
U.K Sellers who accept returns from buyers and dispatch packages using Royal Mail, can purchase a Royal Mail return postage label on Food Prepped. Return postage labels are obtainable for packages procured by U.K buyers who made the purchase as a registered Food Prepped user. Royal Mail return postage labels are obtainable for packages shipped from and to addresses in the U.K only. 4. Delivery Insurance
When you procure and use Postage Labels on Food Prepped, you can purchase parcel insurance, when offered, to protect your packages. Parcel reimbursements are available through Royal Mail for postage labels purchased from Royal Mail.
Royal Mail Compensation
All Royal Mail delivery services offer comprehensive compensation at different levels. When selecting the Royal Mail service, make sure you check the compensation level is right for the value of the item you are sending. Compensation claims for parcels sent using Royal Mail labels are handled entirely by Royal Mail.

5. Fees
The cost of a postage label will be contingent on the origin, destination, weight, mail class, package type, and dimensions of the package. If you add signature confirmation, insurance, or Royal Mail parcel reimbursement, fees will be added to the total cost of the label at the point of purchase. FedEx, Royal Mail, Royal Mail parcel reimbursement will appear separately on your payment account and will specify the name of the service provider and the postage label number. The fees for postage labels and delivery insurance will appear in British Pounds Sterling (GBP), unless specified below.
If you obtain Royal Mail postage labels, the cost of each postage label, taxes, and parcel reimbursement will appear separately on your payment account. When you purchase a Royal Mail label, the fees will appear in British Pounds Sterling (GBP). All final label charges will be listed on your payment account in GBP.
